It's been one of those days. Interesting. Engaging. All that.
Lost some of the work I've been doing on my job search in the recent hard disk crash (not any Ph.D work, that stuff's fairly thoroughly backed up, off-site and on). Redid that.
It's been one of those days where you sit outside and you feel the air and hear the sounds of an English city.
A thought-provoking contrast to the climate and hubbub of Reykjavik.
It's not one of those times where you see a bitter expat railing against the home-country or a nostalgic traveller seeing the old place through the haze memory and distant thought.
Merely an observation of how the two different places engage the senses, each in their own way.
