Another Quiet Day

Giving Thanks

I'd like to take a few moments and give thanks for some of the friendly things that have taken place over the last few days.

First of all I'd like to thank Shel Israel for a very pleasant e-mail exchange with him where he more than proved to me that he's a nice guy and far from arrogant (and reacted graciously to my cranky writing style). He's also put up a response to the entire Nick Carr flamage where it becomes obvious that tempers got a bit out of hand all around

I'm also thankful that Tara Hunt appreciated my book suggestion. Recommending books ties quite well into my core competency (reading books). I probably should do more of that here.

Then there are my step-sister's kind remarks about the pictures I took of her band a couple of weeks ago. I do actually worry a lot about how people react when they see the pictures I take of them and her reaction was to ask for more copies and more shoots.

Which is cool.

And Nonni, a friend of mine who accused me of having blogorrhea and keeps giving me job seeking tips.

Thanks all.

Update: I still think that Shelley's response is the funniest.
